I don't really care for Disney much either. I don't really care about final fantasy characters. FINALLY I CAN UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE LOVE THE SERIES SO MUCH! But wait. Going into this, I was hoping that I could finally get it. I recommend you only get this game until it's $5, or wait until it's free on PS Plus. Charging $60 for a game with no replay value is a cashgrab. It will go back to the shelf collecting dust. So once you beat the story, there is not a reason to play this game again. Speaking of the PS2, that is basically what the game is. That is just laziness, and very PS2-like. At this point, I shouldn't have to run through so many invisible walls. There are so many corny moments in the story. The developers were too lazy to design creative levels, that they just added a bunch of boring minigames. The textures are laughable, especially the hair textures. The running This game is so boring and repetitive. Till then I'm not giving you any of my sweet sweet monies. If you feel they aren't relevant to the plot, Fine. It was us FF fans that hyped this game up to what it is today, it's the least you could do. Or Square, do the right thing and bring FF back. Just rename it to Disney Hearts or something and be done with it. Also, on a last note, since KH is a crossover of FF and Disney, what does that make KH now that FF is no longer a part of the equation? It's an entirely different game. Looks like they proved us wrong, considerably. I was almost sure there was no way they could mess KH3 up given how much time they had to work on it. So for those of us who played KH for the FF stuff, we're pretty much scrooged. Instead we're only left with Disney characters. instead we're left with easter eggs to remind us that they once existed in the game. No more Squall, no more Cloud, Cid, Sephiroth, etc. So what am I talking about? Square Enix has completely removed ALL the Final Fantasy characters from KH3. Seems that all the patience wasn't worth it in the end. I, like many others, have been waiting for KH3 for a very Looong time. Kingdom Hearts is half the game it used to be, not even sure it can be called Kingdom Hearts anymore since it's very premise has been completely scrapped. All in all a great successor! Would buy again! … Expand There is only the setting for Master Volume which means, you can't get a break from the background music. The only bit that, to me, was annoying that there is no seperate sound setting for sound / music volume. Nevertheless the story is gripping and diving into the various worlds with their typical graphic styles is very refreshing. Unfortunately, the time gap 14 years since Kingdom Hearts 2 was released is a bit too big. For me, the story is a bit complex, since I didn't follow or remember what happened in the titles before. The hack-n-slash game play is very enjoyable and I really liked taking some time off from the story by just wander and explore the world, finding collectibles and treasure chests. Unfortunately, the time gap 14 years since Kingdom Hearts 2 was released Kingdom Hearts 3 is a solid RPG.
